2012 Chevrolet Sonic Can Tackle Any Terrain

Rigorous "Seth miles" might be too much for an ordinary vehicle to handle. But the Chevrolet Sonic is far from ordinary. That's why, when driven 14,000 Seth miles the Sonic took in all the rugged terrain and handled it beautifully.
Now, Southworth Chevrolet knows most of you are probably sitting there scratching your heads and asking What in the world is a Seth mile? Allow us to explain. As part of its in-depth vehicle testing process, Chevrolet called on Seth Valentine, Chevrolet Sonic Quality manager. Each 5,280 feet that Seth puts on the Sonic model to test it out is dubbed a "Seth mile." While this form of measurement may distance-wise be equal to a regular mile, the terrain it covers is nothing close to average. For testing of the 2012 Chevy Sonic for example, Valentine crossed the swamps of Florida, the deserts of Arizona, the low country of South Carolina and even the mountains of Colorado.
Speaking about his trips, Valentine explains, "I do test drives because I want to experience everything a customer could: low altitude, high altitude, high temperatures and low temperatures."1 While tackling some of the toughest driving environments, Valentine and his colleagues make note of what aspects of the vehicle need fixed before the model hits the production line and consumer driveways.
Sure, Southworth Chevrolet knows most drivers in the Bloomer area won't be facing all the climate extremes that Seth Valentine encounters in his Chevy Sonic. But it certainly feels good knowing that your new Chevrolet vehicle is more than well-equipped to handle any terrain that comes in its path.
